About
Established on campus in 1873, the Alpha Pi chapter of Beta Theta Pi is UW-Madison’s oldest active fraternity and carries 140 years of rich history. Alpha Pi members are at the forefront of Madison’s academic, philanthropic, and social life, and work tirelessly to leave a positive impact on their school.
The Beta House, built in 1926, boasts views of Lake Mendota and a backyard for hosting a multitude of events. Finally, the alumni network of the chapter is nothing short of spectacular as the bonds of brotherhood stretch far beyond one’s college days.
